Our music video should be attracting a very wide range of audience members due to the fact that our song is in the Pop genre and should be popular.

Andrew Goodwin's theory 'The Conventions of Music Videos'
Usually music videos are dictated by what type (genre) of song it is, or by who sings the song or who produce the song. For example, Lady Gaga is known for having very weird and alternative videos. They are categorized as 'Strange' mainly because of the costumes she wears. Her videos are recognized by the world of 'Pop' music worldwide. Her music videos are probably what made her so famous and got her fashion sense so globally known.
