11 - 9 shot analysis

Photo 1 is an establishing shot showing the kind of setting that they’re in. you can see that they are set in quite empty land with very basic housing.

Photo 2 this is a shot of a tree and a man in it with a sunset behind which lights up the tree as a silhouette, this gives an edgy effect.

Photo 3: this shows the man with the TV, it is an establishing shot because it shows the audience what is happening, as the plot of this video is to get the TV working in Africa.

Photo 4. This is a long establishing shot as it shows a good looking setting with water, trees and a bridge with a man crossing.

Photo 5. It is a mid shot of the people trying to get the TV working and it tells you what is going on in the video as in the lyrics of the song there is no reference to getting a TV working.

Photo 6. It is a long shot of Africans dancing, this stereotypes Africans with the clothes they  are wearing and the way they dance.

Photo 7. This again is a shot with a sunset in the background and the people and buildings in the foreground who are shown as silhouettes and it looks very aesthetic.

Photo 8. Again this is a shot of not the sun setting but the sky during a sunset. It looks good because in the foreground there are silhouettes of planes and people, and in the background there are an array of colours from pink, orange and purple.

Photo 9. In this shot it shows the main character and with a dark back ground and with small road lights featuring in the background.
